SunSprear max title WHEN - Guild Wars Forums

I have been very patient about this and I do know that there are a lot of others wondering this as well. WHEN ARE THEY GONNA FIX IT SO THAT NON-ELONIANS CAN MAX THE SUNSPEAR TITLE? This is frustrating the heck out of me and I have decided that until it is fixed I will not be playing Guild Wars. Please hurry with this fix as it is needed badly.

Non Elonians can max it out the same way native Elonians can. But if you want the simple way to get it; you'll have to wait a while.

I'm begining to think the self-rez mob technique is HOW you are supposed to do it.

Well that's the only way atm; but Gaile has confirmed they will be adding an easier straight foward way..... soon-ish.

She even said they didn't foresee the "rez-trick" you were never supposed to be able to get max sunspear yet

As of one of the last few updates the res trick NO LONGER WORKS, that was posted in the update section of Guild Wars main website. Which makes maxing the title impossible unless you are elonian which is unfair. The same went for protector of Cantha when Factions first came out, they fixed that one very quick. I say if they have the priests within an area they should give the bounty, making a person go to a higher level area to get the bounties the higher their sunspear rank is. That is how it was supposed to be. But due to either a programming error or someones sick joke it doesn't work like that for non-Elonians. I have 8 characters 4 from profecies and 4 from factions and I realy am disapointed in the way this unobtainable title is at the moment.

I don't understand what you're talking about. Where exactly are you trying to get bounties from that you're not high enough level? The noob island?

The noob island was the only place where I encountered this, and it's not even a problem. It has to do with character level, period, not whether you're an Elonian or non-Elonian. Otherwise, I dunno what you could possibly be talking about. Most of my characters are non-Elonian and I haven't had this problem anywhere at all. The only time I was stopped from gaining points was once I reached a certain sunspear rank, and I was cut off at the same level with my non-Elonian monk as I was with my Elonian elementalist.

Clarify, please?

Regardless, it's not needed. Wanted, but not needed.

Stop thinking it's just for non-Elonians. You say you have 4 from Factions and 4 from Prophecies but no Elonians. That's probably why you're thinking crazy things. No one can get bounties/blessings anymore once you hit r8 Castellan; it has nothing to do with native or not.

You don't need the Spearmarshal title to access any special areas, so just relax until they impliment it.

I have a dervish thats stuck at 7508 supspear points. I believe she is elonian. Just like all my other characters who have gained rank 8, no one would give her the blessing either.

It has absolutly NO benefit to your gameplay and does not count towards KoaBD afaik. So please pray tell what is the emergency?

No, the Lightbringer afk-farming 'exploit' was fixed, they didn't touch the Spearmarshal resurrection method. And GuildWars.com does not mention either of those.
